Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3s Construction Electrician Constructionman Raven Hill (rear) and Builder Constructionman Michael Dorsey assemble the main support stanchions of a large sized tent for the Ventura County Stand Down Jul. 24. The two were among 20 Seabees from NMCB 3 who provided, setup and broke down 13 large-size tents each able to house 12 homeless veterans. Seabees from across Ventura County have consistently volunteered during the Ventura County Stand Down since its inception in 1993. NMCB 3 provides commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighters capable of general engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
