A French Marine with the 21st Marine Infantry Regiment, 6th Light Armoured Brigade, adjusts the path of an Overland ULTRA on Range 800 during Service Level Training Exercise (SLTE) 4-26 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Aug 8, 2026. French Marines worked alongside 2nd Marine Division and Overland AI to test the capabilities of the Overland ULTRA; a revolutionary autonomous, uncrewed ground vehicle built for the battlefield and designed to operate beyond line of site in contested environments. SLTE 4-26 is designed to be a challenging, realistic training environment that produces combat-ready forces capable of operating as an integrated Marine Air-Ground Task Force across all domains of military operations.
