Leadership and staff members of the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Detachment Indian Head Industrial Hygiene department stand with military leadership in front of the newly modernized Building 320 on Naval Support Facility Indian Head, Aug. 4. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a historic transition for the local occupational safety specialists, who navigated suboptimal working conditions while executing their highly technical mission from an outdated mobile unit. Moving into their permanent headquarters ensures the team is optimally aligned to continue identifying, monitoring, and mitigating workplace safety hazards across NSF Indian Head's diverse mission commands.

Ken Radford, commanding officer, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Patuxent River.
