Two soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are performing maintenance or mechanical work on military vehicles, with one soldier lying prone on the ground and another crouching beside him. They appear to be working on the undercarriage or wheel assembly area between two olive-drab military trucks. A third soldier's helmet is partially visible at the bottom of the frame.

Brig. Gen. Christopher M. Thomas, commander of the 184th Sustainment Command, visits Soldiers assigned to the 1687th Transportation Company, Mississippi Army National Guard, at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan, on Aug. 5, 2026, in support of Northern Strike 26-2. During the visit, Thomas observed Soldiers performing 10-level maintenance on military vehicles and discussed the unit's role in maintaining equipment readiness throughout the exercise. Northern Strike 26-2 is a premier reserve component readiness exercise that enhances interoperability and strengthens joint, interagency, and multinational partnerships through realistic, large-scale training.
