Montana Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Brianna St. Lawrence-Brody, a drill-status command and control operations craftsman with the 120th Airlift Wing, holds an M4 rifle while on guard on the Montana Air National Guard Base, Great Falls, Mont., Aug. 5, 2026, as part of her duties as a Security Forces augmentee.
Security Forces augmentees take on additional duties to perform the basic function of a Security Forces Defender, guarding entry control points, flight lines, and base perimeters, freeing full-time Defenders to perform more specialized tasks.
