U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Christophe Verduzconegrete, a small unmanned aerial systems operator with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, which is currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, under the unit deployment program, conducts a live-fire first-person view attack drone flight at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, Aug. 5, 2026. The Aug. 5 training concluded the Marine Corps’ first-ever two-event series of live-fire FPV attack drone flights in South Korea. Across the series, Marines with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment employed Neros Archer FPV drones to conduct precision anti-armor and anti-personnel strikes, enhancing reconnaissance and extending the reach of small-unit precision fires.
