U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Gabriel Demopoulos, an intelligence specialist with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, which is currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, under the unit deployment program, prepares demolition payloads for live-fire first-person view attack drone training at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, Aug. 5, 2026. The Aug. 5 event concluded the Marine Corps’ first-ever two-event series of live-fire FPV attack drone flights in South Korea. Across the series, Marines with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment employed Neros Archer FPV drones to conduct precision anti-armor and anti-personnel strikes, enhancing reconnaissance and extending the reach of small-unit precision fires.
