U.S. Army Pfc. Cameshean Robinson, supply specialist for the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 115th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 226th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Alabama Army National Guard, attempts to recover after exiting the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Confidence Chamber - commonly called the gas chamber - during Exercise Northern Strike 26-2, at Camp Grayling, Mich., Aug. 5, 2026. Soldiers are required to conduct CBRN Confidence Chamber training annually to build trust in their protective equipment.
Northern Strike is an Army sponsored, multi-component, multinational exercise designed to build readiness and enhance interoperability to fight and win. Northern Strike 26-2, Michigan’s largest and longest joint readiness exercise, is held from August 1 to 15, 2026 at the National All-Domain Warfighting Center.
