U.S. Army Capt. Jared Folks, chaplain for the 115th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 226th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Alabama National Guard, flaps his arms after exiting the gas chamber during chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) training at Northern Strike 26-2 at Camp Grayling, Michigan, Aug. 5, 2026. Soldiers with the 115th Expeditionary Signal Battalion were exposed to CS gas as part of the training, and flapping their arms helps clear residual gas from their skin and uniform.
