    U.S. Army Lt. Col. Allen Gleaton, brigade commander of the 678th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, South Carolina National Guard, is promoted to the rank of colonel during a promotion ceremony on on July 31, 2026 at the State House in Colombia, South Carolina. Gleaton was joined by family, friends and South Carolina National Guard service members. U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Richard A.
