NIWC Atlantic's summer STEM camps took place July 20-24 at Tidewater Community College’s Chesapeake Campus. Under the theme "To the Moon and Back," rising sixth through eighth graders participated in the four-day STEM Academy and the one-day STEM Rocks! camp. The immersive program featured daily guest speakers and hands-on curriculum focused on NASA’s Artemis III mission, cybersecurity, coding, and collaborative problem-solving, culminating in a hands-on water rocket launch activity.
