U.S. Army Capt. Aaron Eyerly, team chief assigned 418th Civil Affairs Battalion, provides remarks during a meeting with local leaders in Šiauliai, Lithuania, July 16, 2026. The meeting provided a face-to-face between U.S. Soldiers and the mayor’s team to discuss how the city operates during times of peace, crisis and in wartime. By doing so, it allows for better understanding how the U.S. Army could potentially assist throughout the country if needed.
