After the F-4 Phantom II was finally installed next to the Oregon Military Museum entrance, volunteers and staff gathered for a group photo in the late afternoon at Camp Withycombe in Happy Valley, Oregon, on June 2, 2026. Retired military volunteers and staff at the Oregon Military Museum worked to install the jet, which faced several challenges, including a stuck wheel on the front lawn, as they carefully transported it from the maintenance area and finally settled it into its new home adjacent to the main entrance.
