YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 15, 2026) – Local high school students practice reading a radio script from a teleprompter inside the recording studio during the Teen Career Showcase at the Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Public Affairs Office. Organized by CFAY Child and Youth Programs, the event gave students hands-on experience with professional broadcasting equipment and an introduction to military journalism and media relations. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
