YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 15, 2026) – Local high school students practice drafting a news story for My CFAY Weekly, the installation's official newsletter, during the Teen Career Showcase at the Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Public Affairs Office. The workshop, hosted by CFAY Child and Youth Programs, provided youth the opportunity to learn fundamental print journalism skills and a chance to see their work published. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
