U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Ella Aston, a geospatial intelligence specialist and the class commander of Corporals Course 3-26 with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, holds the class guidon at the front of the formation before participating in a motivational run at Robertson Barracks in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, July 16, 2026. Marines in Corporals Course 3-26 conducted the run to strengthen camaraderie, promote unit cohesion and reinforce esprit de corps. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
