(July 14, 2026) - First responders from the City of Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana Fire and Emergency Services treat simulated casualties during a joint mass casualty exercise on the installation July 14, 2026. The exercise tested the installation’s ability to effectively respond to a large-scale emergency and its ability to collaborate with community partners and first responders.
