U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 331st Causeway Company, 11th Transportation Battalion, 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary), secure a simulated casualty to a hoist litter during a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) training exercise as part of Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore 2026 (CJLOTS) operations at Dogu Beach, Republic of Korea, July 9, 2026. The exercise reinforced casualty assessment, communication and team coordination prior to evacuation. Leaders implemented heat mitigation measures throughout the exercise, authorizing service members to remove their patrol caps and uniform blouses while working to reduce the risk of heat-related illness.
