U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Second Class Desiray Raposa wore a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) protective suit while training at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles-Long Beach, July 12, 2026. The exercise familiarized members of Port Security Unit 311, as well as U.S. Navy personnel, with CBRNE protective gear before they completed a proficiency test requiring them to correctly don the uniform in eight minutes or less.
