Royal Australian Air Force Leading Aircraftman Jeffrey Gavidi, 2nd Security Forces airfield defense guard, and Senior Airman Hannah Phillips, 736th Security Forces Squadron response force (SFS) leader, practice commands with Omeka, a RAAF Military Working Dog, July 22 during Talisman Saber 2013 at Williamson Airfield. The 736th SFS is part of the 36th Contingency Response Group (CRG), Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The 36th CRG assumed command and control of the airfield from the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division (Airborne) and turned over command to the Royal Australian Air Force as part of a multiphase combined joint operation. Talisman Saber is a biennial training activity aimed at improving the combat readiness and interoperability of the Australian Defence Force and U.S. forces.
