Lithuanian Armed Forces soldiers assigned to Kosovo Force (KFOR) Regional Command-East prepare to enter a building during a base defense exercise at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, May 23, 2026. The multinational exercise brought together U.S., German, Lithuanian and Turkish service members to rehearse coordinated defensive operations, strengthen force protection procedures and improve emergency response capabilities across the installation. The training validated KFOR’s ability to rapidly respond to potential threats, coordinate defensive actions and maintain operational readiness in support of a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all people in Kosovo.
