Soldiers from the 1st Armored Division participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery and Memorial in Nettuno, Italy. As part of a battlefield study, these "Iron Heroes" competition winners walked the same grounds as their predecessors, honoring the 247 1st Armored Division Soldiers who died during the Italian Campaign of World War II and are buried in the cemetery.
