Ted Soiles, chief engineer of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), for his selection as Senior Sailor of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter of Fiscal Year 2026 during an award ceremony in the fo'c'sle while underway the Atlantic Ocean, July 1, 2026. Nimitz is underway in the U.S. 2nd Fleet area of responsibility as part of a scheduled homeport shift to Norfolk, Virginia.
