Jeffrey Kilian, commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Chief of Civil Engineers, discusses current and ongoing projects with Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic’s (SWFLANT) operations management department, Portfolio Acquisition Executive Strategic Systems Programs at Naval Submarine Base Kings Ba, Ga., June 24. SWFLANT is one of two sites responsible for the Navy’s strategic assets. Its mission is to deliver safe, secure and effective sea-based strategic deterrence to Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines.
