U.S. Army Pfc. Anthony Joseph, 2026 Europe-Mediterranean short term individual augmentee, watches as a rosette is placed next to the name of recently identified U.S. Army Pfc. Harlan W. Melinsky, at the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy, June 24, 2026. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency identified Melinsky in April 2026. When a service member’s remains are found and identified, a bronze rosette is placed next to their name at a National Memorial Cemetery. This ceremony is a reminder of the commitment to provide the fullest possible accounting for America's missing personnel to their families and the nation.
