Workers on a work boat are handling a large circular yellow-framed equipment piece, likely a cable reel guard or diffuser assembly, being lowered by crane onto the vessel deck. The scene appears to be a marine construction or utility installation operation on a waterway. At least three workers in safety gear are actively guiding and securing the equipment.

Staff from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District hoist a new bubbler system onto a vessel for installation on the upstream approach wall at Lower Monumental Dam. This technology cools fish ladder water temperatures to encourage species to continue migrating during spawning. It replaces an older chimney method that, while effective, was significantly more expensive and labor-intensive than the new bubbler system.
