Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kekaha (June 20, 2026) — Commanding Officer, Captain Robert A. Prince expresses his gratitude to the lineal descendants for their aloha and to staff for their dedication and work towards honoring cultural heritage, regulated compliance and protocols in support of our community. Leadership from the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands (PMRF) joined lineal descendants of Na ʻOhana Papa O Mānā, to observe the annual Summer Solstice in a reverent and unifying ceremony held at the Lua Kupapa’u ‘O Nohili (Nohili crypt) on base. The ceremony focused on honoring the history of the land, paying respects to those who came before us and reinforcing the vital partnership between the U.S. Navy, Na ʻOhana Papa O Mānā and the host cultural protocol. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain range, capable of supporting surface and sub-surface, air and space operations simultaneously.
