    The Washington Nationals hosted Space Force Day at Nationals Park, Washington, D.C., June 22, 2026. Pre-game recognition ceremonies included a ceremonial first pitch from Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman, game ball delivery from Tech. Sgt. Broderick Epperson as well as line-up delivery and play ball announcement from the Epperson children. The game also featured a salute to service and career recognition for Gen. Saltzman.
