NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 4, 2026) Midshipmen join U.S. Navy Cmdr. William Burke (center), commanding officer of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117), and crew for morning physical training during their summer cruise, June 4, 2026. Second-class and first-class midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy and Naval Reserves Officer Training Corps have the opportunity to spend a month aboard a U.S. Navy warship for their annual summer training.
