From June 8-12, students from Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts explored a variety of medical departments, gaining firsthand experience through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and mentorship from healthcare professionals. As part of their hands-on experience, students participated in orthopedic bone stations, where they learned the fundamentals of applying pins and external fixation devices, as well as practicing surgical incision techniques.
