Guido Valdes, the medical officer of the Marine Corps, about sick call procedures at the clinic on June 26, 2026, aboard Weapons and Field Training Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The 31 Area Branch Health Clinic, a branch of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, provides medical support to the recruits and staff of Weapons and Field Training Battalion. Per their website, “Weapons and Field Training Battalion conducts entry level marksmanship training and small arms combat marksmanship training; provides professional instruction on and evaluation of basic military field skills; and responsible for the conduct of the Crucible - the culminating event of Recruit training.”
