U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Journey Fisher, a combat graphics specialist with Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, gives a command during a simulated drill as a part of a Communication Strategy and Operations field training exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, June 11, 2026. This training provided COMMSTRAT Marines from across I Marine Expeditionary Force with a more detailed understanding of infantry operations, improving their tactical proficiency and ability to integrate at the squad level. During the training Marines worked on basic squad tactics including patrolling, immediate action drills, and close quarters battle training. Fisher is a Native of Virginia.
