HONOLULU – Raquel Cloma, Navy Region Hawaii public affairs specialist, and her children pick up trash during a beach cleanup at Sand Island State Recreation Area, June 13, 2026. Twenty volunteers from the Navy and Air Force joined 808 Cleanups to collect 114 pounds of trash and debris from the shoreline at Sand Island State Recreation Area, one of Oahu’s largest urban parks.
