Students from the English Language Corner school in Kamenicë/Kamenica interact with Sgt. Busa, a military working dog assigned to the 131st Military Working Dog Detachment-Europe and Kosovo Force (KFOR) Regional Command-East’s Task Force Military Police, during a Public Safety Day event at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, May 15, 2026. Florida Army National Guardsmen from C Troop, 1st Squadron, 153rd Cavalry Regiment, assigned to KFOR RC-E’s Liaison Monitoring Team, guided the tour, which included stops at the CBS Fire Department, RC-E military police headquarters, the Task Force Medical clinic and a Task Force Aviation hangar. The event fostered community trust, familiarized students with public safety roles and strengthened civil-military ties that help KFOR build cooperative relationships and enhance community engagement.
