U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, brief students from the University of Texas at Austin's Clements Center for National Security on the capabilities of the M1 Abrams main battle tank at Pabradė Training Area, Lithuania, June 6, 2026. The students visited Pabradė as part of "Summer Beyond Borders: Baltic Perspectives," a two-week study program examining the history, geopolitics, and security challenges of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
