John Barnard, senior construction manager at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southeast, describes renovation work for an unaccompanied housing facility at Naval Air Station Jacksonville to the visiting Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) scholarship recipients on May 20. Barnard led the SMART Scholars on a tour of the renovation work during the scholars’ two-day site visit to NAVFAC Southeast headquarters.
