U.S. Airmen with the Five Star Brass, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Air Forces Africa Band perform a selection of classic World War II-era tunes for the students of Ecole Les Roseaux in Carentan-les-Marais, France, June 2, 2026. The exchange highlights our shared values of free cultural expression while building a connection between U.S. service members and a new generation in Normandy. From June 2-7, 2026, service members from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Marine Corps will join service members from Allied nations to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944.
