U.S. Soldiers and Airman assigned to the South Carolina National Guard Civil Response Team, along with federal and local law enforcement agencies, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the South Carolina Department of Public Health participate in a joint training at the Bluff Road Armory in Columbia, South Carolina, June 1, 2026. The one-day exercise brought together FBI Weapons of Mass Destruction coordinators, public health officials and emergency response personnel to strengthen coordination, enhance information sharing and maintain readiness for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and other hazard response operations.
