The District of Columbia Public Schools Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) hosted the JROTC Cadet Ball and Awards Ceremony at the D.C. Armory on May 16, 2026. The event celebrated the conclusion of the school year and recognized the top JROTC cadets and programs in the Washington, D.C., area. Cadets from the Capital Guardian Youth ChalleNGe Academy, a preparatory program operated by the District of Columbia National Guard in partnership with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, were also in attendance and recognized during the ceremony.
