U.S. Soldiers assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) pay their respects during the playing of the national anthem before the inaugural Tribe Week hockey game at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, May 19, 2026. The inaugural match featured a jersey dedication, honoring Sgt. 1st Class Michael A. Cathcart, establishing a new Tribe Week tradition to preserve his legacy and build camaraderie across the formation. Cathcart was killed in action in 2014 while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan.
