CLEVELAND (May 18, 2026) – Tim Daley, historian for the USS Cleveland Legacy Foundation, and Alexander Barni, a videographer with Barndog Media, record an oral history interview with Sailors aboard USS Cleveland (LCS 31) in Cleveland, Ohio, May 18, 2026. The interviews documented stories from plankowners following the ship’s commissioning in its namesake city. Cleveland is the fourth warship to be named after Ohio’s second largest city and is the 16th and final Freedom-variant littoral combat ship to be built and commissioned in the U.S. Navy.
