CLEVELAND (May 16, 2026) - U.S. Navy Sailors stand in attendance during the commissioning ceremony for the USS Cleveland (LCS 31), held in Cleveland, the second largest city in the state of Ohio. As the 16th and final Freedom-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) to be commissioned, Cleveland becomes the fourth U.S. Navy vessel to carry the namesake city's name.
