CLEVELAND (May 16, 2026) - Mimosa Gonsalves, a Public Affairs Specialist with the Naval History and Heritage Command, engages in conversation with attendees of the commissioning ceremony for the USS Cleveland (LCS 31), held in Cleveland, the second largest city in the state of Ohio. As the 16th and final Freedom-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) to be commissioned, Cleveland becomes the fourth U.S. Navy vessel to carry the namesake city's name.
