U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal Soldiers with the 702nd Ordnance Company (EOD), based out of U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria in Grafenwoehr, Germany, and attached to the Florida Army National Guard’s 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, assigned to Kosovo Force (KFOR) Regional Command-East, lay down ammunition in a trench at a demolition site at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, May 1, 2026, prior to conducting demolition operations of unserviceable munitions. These operations reduce explosive hazards, preventing accidental detonations and clears ranges for safe training, while enhancing force protection, protecting civilians and infrastructure, and supporting KFOR’s mission to maintain a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all people in Kosovo.
