NORFOLK, Virginia (May 5, 2026) Hull Technician 1st Class Eliberto Garcia sets up a P-3 in a 6G position to start initial testing at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC). Garcia is assigned to Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) Detachment— Bahrain. As MARMC prepares for its transition to a partnership with the Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA) in June 2026, the command continues to prioritize Sailor development as a cornerstone of fleet readiness.
