(May 05, 2026) Rear-Admiral Kristjan Monaghan, Canadian Defence Attaché to U.S. and Commander Canadian Defence Liaison Staff (Washington), awards Master Sailor (MS) Nathan Wright with a Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC) Commendation during a ceremony at Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) onboard Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, Virginia, May 5. The CJOC Commendation is a prestigious award recognizing Royal Canadian Navy personnel and units for actions beyond normal duty demands, particularly in joint, international, or high-stakes operations.
