An F/A-18F Super Hornet, attached to the "Fighting Swordsmen" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 32, launches off the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) May 6, 2026. Eisenhower is underway conducting flight deck certification in the Atlantic Ocean, this marks the first launch of fixed wing aircraft aboard the warship in over 19 months.
