Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua B. DeLosAngeles, the supply petty officer for Camp Taqaddum Surgical, 1st Supply Battalion (Reinforced) inserts a needle into an awaiting arm to test the blood for impurities before a full blood draw is made. DeLosAngeles assisted other nurses and corpsmen with a "walking blood bank" that was held, June 19 for an injured Iraqi policeman who was injured by an improvised explosive device. "It's pretty rewarding," said the 22-year-old from Los Angeles. "It's good to know you provided help in collecting all the blood needed to save a life."
