Senior Chief Musician Sarah Blecker, the U.S. Navy Band’s admin chief, works behind the scenes supporting more than 500 U.S. Navy Music Sailors, completing crucial pay and personnel administrative tasks that support mission readiness across the fleet. The U.S. Navy Band provides musical support to the president, vice president and other senior civilian and military officials throughout the National Capital Region, as well as funerals at Arlington National Cemetery and public outreach performances across the United States. The band serves as the Echelon II headquarters for nine U.S. Navy fleet bands around the world.
