A U.S. Army Tomb Guard with the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) patrols the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, April 30, 2026. Sentinels guard the tomb in any weather at every hour, while also continuously reaffirming the highest military honor of a 21-gun salute.
